Boba Fett Arrested In Brawl Between Chewbacca & Darth Vader

When we usually hear about Star Wars, we think of a galactic struggle in a galaxy far, far away.....not in the heart of Hollywood, CA.

On July 6th, 2015, LAPD responded to calls of an altercation between Darth Vader and Chewbacca on the Hollywood Walk of Fame near Hollywood Blvd. & Highland.

Somehow Boba Fett got into the mix and was arrested. No one really knows what was the cause, although disputes over tips are not uncommon. Hell, maybe they were fighting over Comic Con passes. Who knows....

As to why Chewie & Vader were not arrested? My guess would be Darth Vader used the mind trick to weasel his way out of an arrest, and Chewie.....well, I'm sure it had something to do with not wanting their arms ripped out from their sockets.

Rumors & Probabilities: Boba and Han In A Movie Together & Obi-Wan Kenobi Possibly Making A Comeback

Let's face it. Star Wars is the biggest event of 2015. New trilogy, new books, new comics, new games, new stand-alone films, new toys, new new new! You get the idea...

Let's add some more to the list. According to Schmoesknow.com, They have a source claiming as-of-yet unofficial but possibly true information about what else Disney has in store for us. Until the news becomes official, chalk the following up as very tasty and highly probable rumors for now.

ROUND 1:

The 2nd stand-alone movie following "Rogue One" will not only be about Boba Fett. It will also feature Han Solo. Just let that sink in for a moment.

It seems that our favorite bounty hunter will be crossing paths with our favorite scruffy looking Nerf herder. Up until now, all we've known of their relationship (according to the new canon thus far) was that Han Solo knew who Boba Fett was, and Boba Fett was after him for Jabba's bounty.

However for a bounty hunter to make a deal with the Empire, you know there had to be more than just a simple gangster's bounty at the root of the issue. The question is, what happened between them?

This film is said to focus on the conflict between both men that made Solo the elusive high value target and Fett the unrelenting bounty hunter.

ROUND 2:

Obi-Wan Kenobi might be making a comeback.

Sources claim that Disney is in talks with Ewan McGregor about a yet un-named project. The 2 obvious choices for these talks are (a) They want him to star in a Disney movie, or (b) They want him to reprise his role as Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.

My money is on option B.

If they are indeed in talks for a Kenobi film, Schmoes notes that it would open the doors for expanded roles for Owen & Beru Lars, an infant/young Luke and how he came to know "Ben" Kenobi, and of course the possibility of Darth Maul and Obi-Wan coming face to face a third time!

I don't know about you, but I would love to see this battle. Ray Parks has amazing abilities that would be showcased again, as well as giving him the chance at an extended dialogue. It could possibly be the final fate of Darth Maul, or perhaps a new beginning for him in the form of spin-offs and sequels!

6 Things You May Not Have Known About Boba Fett... According to Boba Fett

When you mention Boba Fett nowadays, many fans automatically think of Temura Morrison. He portrayed Jango, the original man from whom all the clones, including Boba, were created. However us old timers know someone else. The real Boba Fett. Jeremy Bulloch.

May 21st marked the 35th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back. To celebrate the occasion, The Huffington Post reached out to Jeremy Bulloch to share some on-set stories. He shared some things about his experiences that perhaps not many others know.

• Boba Fett's demeanor was inspired by Clint Eastwood's character in the classic Sergio Leone spaghetti western,  "A Fist Full of Dollars".

A huge fan of westerns, Bulloch said Boba Fett's cape reminded him of Clint Eastwood's cloak. So he decided to emulate the gunslinger's behavior. Walking around slowly,  watching  people around him very carefully, and waiting.

• George Lucas initially thought Boba Fett would be a small role, never anticipating the impact the character would have for decades to come.

Bulloch (Left) got the roll thanks to his half brother Robert Watts (Right), who was an associate producer on the film. Jeremy was acting in theater at the time Watts offered him this "small" role. He initially balked, but then accepted the offer when it became apparent that the schedules would not affect his theater commitments. When Jeremy met George, he was greeted with "Welcome aboard. Well, it's not a big role, but welcome". 

• In addition to donning the infamous Mandalorian armor, Jeremy Bulloch also had a second roll in the same film as Lieutenant Sheckil, the Imperial officer in charge of the capture of our heroes.

          ...who was later captured himself.

• Boba Fett & Darth Vader once bumped into each other on the carbon freezing chamber set, and were both floundering on the floor unable to get up.

• The Boba Fett costume was a near perfect fit on Jeremy Bulloch when he first tried it on, as if it was made to his measurements. As Vader would put it "It is your Destiny".

When Jeremy showed up on the first day, the suite was already built and they had him try it on for alteration. As it turned out, it fit him perfectly, right down to the boots. They were a size 10, and it just so happened that Jeremy's shoe size was also 10. 

     

      The suit still fits to this day.

• Visibility through the visor was worse than through the Stormtrooper helmets

"Imagine a pair of sunglasses covering the whole of your face, but a deep sort of color". That's how Bulloch described the experience of having the helmet on. He had to rehearse counting how many steps it took to get to his marks during scenes, since he could not see a thing in front of him. This was doubly important, as just like David Prowse, during filming he also had to say his lines, and every time he spoke, the lens would fog up.
