I am not going to do a blow-by-blow of the new footage (you can simply watch it above). We get dialogue from Princess Leia, we get actual character intros for Rey (Daisy Ridley and Finn (John Boyega), actual dialogue from Rey, a brief appearance from Chewbacca, and slight variations on the action beats we’ve already seen. The general structure is the same as last month’s big trailer, and for the record even this new footage doesn’t give much away.
Can you stay away from the footage? You are so close to the opening! Or, are you one of the fans who wants to analyze every frame made available between now and opening day. That’s fine, too.
