Farewell, Spock. A Tribute to Leonard Nimoy.

We are very saddened to bring you this news.

CNN reports:

"Leonard Nimoy, whose portrayal of "Star Trek's" logic-driven, half-human science officer Spock made him an iconic figure to generations, died Friday. He was 83.
The Los Angeles Times and New York Times confirmed his death with his wife, Susan Bay Nimoy.
The cause of death was chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, she told the New York Times."

His Voice Will Live Forever

Lost a big voice today, Space Ghost.  Gary Owens died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, his rep said in a statement to PEOPLE.

"Gary will be greatly missed," Goldie Hawn, who appeared on the show, told PEOPLE Friday. "His presence of optimism and joy will live on! He was a gift to us all."

The veteran announcer, whose career spanned seven decades, worked until the end; a month before his death, he had voiced TV promos.

Way too many achievements to list.  I'm really upset about this.  Lots of memories.
