What Did The Inquisitor Mean? 'Rebels' Season Finale Questions.

Possible Spoilers*

What did the Inquisitor mean before he fell?  That was kinda too cryptic for his final goodbye... Which leads me to believe he will be back.

What's the biggest question or concern in your mind about Season 2?  I really don't want to see Vader foiled each week in a sophomoric way and take away from his epicness.  But, that's just me.

Are you stoked to have Ahsoka back?  How about Vader?  Make sure you sound off on our group and join the discussion.  Can't wait for Season 2!!

  1. The inquisitor is most likely dead, but now we know there are more like him. It's pretty much written that way in the EU anyway. I did read that the Inquisitorius organisation is to be portrayed as something that existed outside the Jedi and the Sith in some form of secrecy and may be the basis for some episode 7 antagonists. I've also seen it theorised that the Emperor appoints Darth Maul as some "Grand Inquisitor", but most likely by someone who didn't read the comics that has Maul still at large. Personally I can see Maul remaining the "menace" he was destined to be. I have my own theories on that however.

As for season two, I'm really into the rebel hardware, specifically their starfighters and uniforms. I'd like to see some x-wings show up, as I really didn't like the EU storyline of them being virtually brand new at Yavin. They look far from it! At least as old as the Y-wings which are allegedly clone wars vintage. Guess it's a touchy subject, but following EU continuity can't be bad either. I remember seeing at least one X-wing in the droids cartoon, as well as the B-wing and A-wing, but then the EU came up with all these origin stories for them and kept tripping over itself because the TV program wasn't consistant with some graphic novel or some other media, which probably lacked some research in it's execution. Anyway, nice blog. Cheers!

    2. I agree about the EU. I think we are on the same page. That's one of the reason's I'm fully on board with the Legends decision. It allows then to fix continuity and pick and choose what worked and leave what didn't from the EU.
